Okinawa Bistatic Polarimetric Radar (COBRA)

This radar makes it possible to observe precipitation over a 300-kilometer-wide radius from a fixed point at a specific moment in time. Through our efforts this is the next generation of weather radar for observing precipitation and wind distribution in a rainfall area by means of six types of polarizations.
