Applications of HF Ocean Radar

Recently, HF ocean radar has been used in various fields, most notably in observations of ocean currents. Such observations are useful in tracking drifting bodies, detecting current-rip, monitoring sea ice, issuing tsunami alerts, and monitoring soil runoff.
